IT House is looking for a PowerBuilder Developer for a client in the software development sector within the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using PowerBuilder;
- Develop and manage databases;
- Collaborate in the development of .NET components (namely C#);
- Use version control systems (such as GIT) for efficient code management;
- Provide support and maintenance for existing applications, identifying and resolving issues.
Profile
- Strong hands-on experience with PowerBuilder (real development experience is essential);
- Solid understanding of database development, ideally with Oracle and/or SQL Server;
- Working knowledge of .NET technologies (C# is a plus), to complement PowerBuilder work when needed;
- Experience using GIT or similar version control systems;
- Experience working in structured enterprise development environments, including the use of supporting tools and standard development processes;
- Accounting knowledge or background on that matter will be valuable;
- Good communication skills and the ability to integrate into a team with varied responsibilities;
- English level (>B2 or equivalent);
- Additional languages such as French would be a plus;
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to handle complexity;
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently when required.
