IT Support Specialist

To support ongoing operations within the Logistics and Transportation sector, we are recruiting an IT Support Specialist for a direct placement with an end client.

This role will play a key part in ensuring system stability, continuous process improvement, and technical support to operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-level support for road transport management applications
  • Analyse, process, and resolve support requests, including the creation of technical documentation
  • Prepare, execute, and monitor scheduled and unscheduled program changes in test and production environments
  • Support the technical setup of new operational sites
  • Act as a single point of contact for the Service Desk, working closely with specialist departments and development teams during problem resolution
  • Maintain ongoing collaboration with technical teams and development groups

Ideal Profile

  • Completed education or training in Information Technology
  • Strong IT affinity and enjoyment in solving software and technical issues
  • Several years of professional experience in first and/or second-level support
  • Confident use of Office tools and other IT platforms (e.g. Confluence, Jira)
  • Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a service-oriented mindset
  • Good command of English
