To support ongoing operations within the Logistics and Transportation sector, we are recruiting an IT Support Specialist for a direct placement with an end client.
This role will play a key part in ensuring system stability, continuous process improvement, and technical support to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide second-level support for road transport management applications
- Analyse, process, and resolve support requests, including the creation of technical documentation
- Prepare, execute, and monitor scheduled and unscheduled program changes in test and production environments
- Support the technical setup of new operational sites
- Act as a single point of contact for the Service Desk, working closely with specialist departments and development teams during problem resolution
- Maintain ongoing collaboration with technical teams and development groups
Ideal Profile
- Completed education or training in Information Technology
- Strong IT affinity and enjoyment in solving software and technical issues
- Several years of professional experience in first and/or second-level support
- Confident use of Office tools and other IT platforms (e.g. Confluence, Jira)
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a service-oriented mindset
- Good command of English
